I’ve had a camera for as long as I can remember, from early film dabblings in with an Olympus Trip 35 through to the current digital evolutions of the Canon EOS 5D and my current Fujifilm X-Series favourites. In the past, I always used high end Full Frame digital SLR cameras such as the Canon EOS 5D Mark II & III with equally high quality Canon professional L class lenses. The Canon kit is a longstanding favourite of mine but it is big and heavy.
So, more recently, I have fallen in love with the stunning Fujifilm X Series. When coupled with equally high quality XF lenses they deliver image quality of the highest order, whilst bringing a smaller size, lightness and usability combined with a certain unique style and look that Fujifilm brings. I now shoot exclusively with Fujifilm gear, specifically the X-E2 and the X-T2, and sometimes with the new X-T3 and X-Pro2, and have never regretted it. The exquisite X100F compact is a also pocket rocket delivering high end results for the more informal moments. Don’t be fooled by the look of the diminutive cameras, all of the images on this website are shot on Fujifilm gear and I think it equals or outperforms the Canon gear in so many ways.
